Today Ford Motors launched its most awaited and one of the cheapest SUV Ford Ecosport. It brandishes a punky and sporty look and seems well suited for the youth. If looked from outside it seems quite compact but is quite spacious once we enter the cabin.

This compact SUV will take on Mahindra’s Quanto, Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga and Renault Duster. Ford has initial inventory of 5000 to counter initial booking and satisfy customers as soon as possible. Manual transmission is available in both petrol and diesel variants whereas automatic transmission is only available in petrol.
Ecosport has an impressive ground clearance of 200mm along with 500mm of water wading capability.Ford boasts it to be much greener and eco-friendly then other SUVs. Ford has also added Hill Assist control in ecosport which help in stopping it to fall backwards after applying brakes.
Rear seats are impressive and can folded in 60:40 ratio or completely which can easily fit bicycle after flattening out the seat. It seems to be compact SUV which also makes driving easier in narrow roads.
