Micromax has announced the all-new Canvas Sliver 5 at Rs 17,999. It is 5.1mm thin and weighs only 97 grams . The company claims that the Canvas Sliver 5 is the slimmest phone ever.

The Canvas Sliver 5 comes with a 4.8-inch AMOLED display of 720p resolution with Gorilla Glass 3, The phone has a metallic rim made out of aircraft grade aluminium. it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 coupled with 2GB RAM. One will find 16GB onboard storage.The device is backed by 2000 mAh Battery and supports single SIM only. The expandable memory slot and dual SIM abilities have been given a miss.
On the camera front, it has 8MP rear camera packed with SONY IMX219 sensor, 4P Largan lens and Blue Glass Filter.For selfie lovers it has 5MP front camera.
The smartphone comes with Dirac HD Sound and NXP Smart Power Amplifier for better sound. The connectivity options include 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
