HP has now finally taken a dive into Tablet based market after initial failures by launching Android based tablet HP Slate 7 . Slate 7 comes up with a sleek and bold look with attractive design and can give a good competition to other tablets.
Following on footprints of dell it is also giving accidental protection on a meager additional price of $49 for 2 years. Usually tablet audio system is small and unimpressive but slate did a stalemate in this segment as speakers are worth listening to.
If we compare the display with Apple IPad ,latter seems to be better choice but comes with a hefty price, whereas Slate price range starts from $199 for the 8GB version and $249 for a 32GB.It has a micro SD card slot using which you can extend the memory by 32GB. Slate 7 inch display is mediocre on scale with 1024×600 color density.
Android OS is vanilla 4.1.1 with comes with some HP based apps useful for wireless printing and some supported software. It weighs around 380gm and seems to be fit to carry and portable.Slate seems to be a value for money tablet
