Sony Mobile intends a comeback to capture mid market in India and has launched its mid range mobile phone ; “Sony Xperia M” priced at Rs 12990 in India , surely can and should do the justice with the mediocre price tag. Xperia M comes with 4″ inch capacitive TFT 16 million colors touch screen with a resolution of (480 x 854 pixels).
Xperia M looks sleek , thin and sexy and is easier to hold without any need to stretch fingers. There is an additional model Xperia M dual which comes with Dual Sim Feature also and has not been thoroughly tested by us as their had been few problems with dual sim based cell phones with network latency or strength issue. I think this is the reason Xolo play came with single sim feature only.
Big disadvantage is : Xperia M doesn’t support Bravia engine and it has rather poor display as compared to Sony’s high end cell phone and bigger advantage is it comes with NFC connectivity.
“Consumers looking for their first steps into the world of Xperia smartphones, would be well-advised to look at Xperia M or Xperia Mdual,” said Calum MacDougall, Director of Xperia Marketing at Sony Mobile Communications. “Both models benefit from Sony’s proven innovation and engineering expertise, and are perfect for those who want the premium technology and experiences often only associated with high-end models.”
Xperia M has Dual-core 1 GHz Krait CPU with Qualcomm MSM8227 Snapdragon chipset along with 1 GB RAM for better performance. Inbuilt memory is 4Gb with 2GB workable space for the user. With this price and brand it seems a go for.
