Vivo is coming with two new smartphones, v5 and v5 plus on 15th November, 2016 in India. V5 and V5 plus are being launched after Vivo V3 and Vivo V3 Max. Vivo V5 will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz with Adreno 510 GPU.
The device would have 5.5″ HD display with a resolution of 1280*720 pixels and 2.5D curved display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is supposed to have 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable.
V5 will be running on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and will have Funtouch OS 2.6 skin. The device will have a metal body design alongwith fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE support, non-removable 3000 mAh battery, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GLONASS, Bluetooth, GPS, AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip, 20MP front camera for better selfies alongwith Soft-LED flash and 13MP back camera with LED Flash and Phase Detection Auto Focus System (PDAF). Not much have been revealed about V5 Plus except that it will be having 20MP front camera and 13MP rear camera, Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and Funtouch OS 2.6 skin.
Sensors on V5 include Accelerometer, Proximity, Light and E-compass. The smartphone will be made available in rose gold and gold color variants and is dual-SIM. Weight of the device would be 154 grams. Measurement of the device is 153.8×75.5×7.55 mm. Pricing of both the devices is yet to be known but V5 might be priced under Rs. 20,000 and V5 Plus’s cost will be close to Rs. 25,000.
Let us hope both the phones after their launch create a craze among the users in the market.
