Television, print media, blogs, comments, tweets, social media .. everyone seems to be talking about ISIS invasion of Iraq. So what is stopping United States government in mobilizing ground platoons ? Maybe bureaucracy , diplomacy , funds or suddenly Obama administration doesn’t seem to have the same feeling for Iraq .
But still they have pandora box of defense items which they can reveal and use to damage ISIS either through air or water. Lets find out what they have in the box to attack ISIS : –
1. B-2 Spirit
B-2 Spirit is a stealth jet which can penetrate any anti aircraft defenses without letting the enemies know about its presence. Due to its rounded and curved structure it is very much successful in deviating beams from radar and can fly undetected. B-2 can isolate and attack targets using its GPS guided attack system.
2. RQ-170 Sentinel
Surveillance and intelligence gathering is a major part of operation before going for the offense. RQ-170 is a stealth unmanned aerial vehicle manufactured by Lockheed Martin.
3. Tomhawk Missile
Tomhawk is a long range sub sonic cruise ballastic missile currently being used by U.S Navy. Using the Persian gulf sea Navy can easily target the opponent location which will also act as an element of surprise for ISIS.
4. Hellfire Missile
Hellfire are ultra precision missile which can target multiple target with highest accuracy. Acronym taken from “Helicopter launched , Fire and Forget” , these missiles can be launched from air , land or sea. Hellfire uses a laser guidance system for guiding the missile. It doesnt require further guidance after being launched and pinpoint and kill terrorist targets without any hiccups
5. F-22 stealth fighter jet
