Internet Explorer 11 — Windows 8.1 comes with the new Internet Explorer 11, which is fast, fluid and perfect for touch. With Internet Explorer 11, you can have up to 100 tabs per window and faster switching with tabs that are there when you need them and out of your way when you don’t.

Windows 8.1 Bing Travel — Bing Travel is designed for how people plan trips, providing info about top attractions and reviews from top sites like Fodor’s and Lonely Planet. Easily access Maps for driving directions and Mail for sharing your plans.

Windows 8.1 Movie Moments — Movie Moments enables you to turn any video into a memorable moment you’ll love to share. Trim your video to your favorite parts, highlight key moments with fun, colorful captions in a range of styles, and set the mood with music that matches the moment.

Windows 8.1 People App — With the built-in People app, all your contacts are in one place, you can easily see updates from all your social networks and you can easily connect with people in whatever way you prefer. In Windows 8.1, you can search and browse for contacts more quickly, view, edit and link contacts more easily, and add a custom picture for a contact.

Windows 8.1 Power Pane — In the Mail app in Windows 8.1, a new toolbar called Power Pane on the left-hand side helps you automatically organize your inbox, sort out messages by type and create customized views of the email that’s most important to you.

Windows 8.1 Access Mails through Power Pane — Mail enables you to mark folders as favorites. Just open the folder menu and click the stars for the folders you want to place on the power pane. Then you can drag and drop messages to these folders without having to navigate a long list of folders each time.

Skype in Windows 8.1 — In Windows 8.1, Skype will automatically move to the side when you select any link in Skype or shared item, enabling you to do more while you chat.
